Diesel generators combine a diesel engine with an alternator to create electricity. They are generally used in remote areas which have no power supply, or as an emergency backup system should the power grid fail.

Our range of Yanmar generators offers a quality solution to the power needs of an individual or business. These low maintenance, compact generators use low harmonic distortion alternators, which offer superior power and electrical performance.

The generator is housed inside a powder coated heavy duty frame, meaning that the unit will be resistant to corrosion, long lasting and requiring little in the way of maintenance. The unit is lightweight but strong, and Australian Standard (AS2790) compliant.

Yanmar generators are designed to operate for extended periods of time for between 60 and 100% load. The diesel generator is more fuel efficient than a petrol generator.

Options include and 18 or 50 litre fuel tank for extended operation, wheels and handle roll frame, engine protection (Hatz only), an earth stake kit and a WorkCover spec protection module, which includes weatherproof outlets and circuit breaker protection for earth leakage.
