Hose Couplings

A hose coupling is one of the most important pieces to any Steamaster device. It connects two of the hoses used in the instrument together with both precision and efficiency. It allows water to properly flow through the device with minimal lag time.

While there are a variety of different types of hose coupling tools, Steamaster uses two distinct designs: the ball type and screw type. The ball type uses a series of ball bearings to fasten one hose to another, while the screw type uses the more traditional threading technique. Both are unique and have their advantages depending on the type of machine one is using.

Both styles come in two different formats. The ball type is available as the ball-type quick adapter or the ball-type quick coupling. Whereas the screw version is available as the screw-type quick adapter M22 or the screw-type quick coupling M22. All four of these have distinct uses depending on the model from Steamaster and must be replaced correctly in the event of a failure.
